Fighting the depression

I've tried to get out of the house and get fresh air and do things to get myself out of the mood but it never helps, i don't enjoy doing anything, i find no enjoyment in anything so even forcing myself to go out and do something fun just isn't fun for me. My depression lasts very long periods "it's almost constant" with very, very few ... I feel things intensely and would like to turn down the volume on that most days! I have only recently realized that not everyone goes through life ...so when i was born back in 1990 my mom was 17 almost 18, and when pregnant with me she drank heavily and did drugs ETC, she is an alcoholic as is her mom and now i think i am, thought ive been one for two years now lol if you look at my other questions, i have heard that i was in drug withdrawal at birth, i have been mostly drinking for 4 years but had my first sip of beer at age ... I recently stopped taking an anti-depressant because it made me feel awful.
